Hey Guys! Just wanted to say that I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!! We were in New York this week, and I had a blast! Yesterday was the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and that was really exciting. I was on the Green Dog float, and there were tons and tons and tons of people on the sides. It was pretty chilly too, but I heard that it was a really nice day compared to previous years haha. I bundled and layered up as much as I could though. I sang Crush near the end, and a couple of songs played during our time going down the streets. And there's a mouse in here. Sorry I know that was random, but I can hear it wandering around and it keeps squeaking. I didn't think there would be mice here but I guess there are... But anyway. Some kids from the PBS show Fetch were on my float too, and they were really nice kids. I also got to meet a bunch of other people who were in the parade, and it was really great getting to meet and talk with them. Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly was there too, and it was really cool to see ...

Hello,
First off I want to make a big apology I haven't been posting much news. I've been busy lately and usually when I do have something to post it's already up! Thanks mainly to Jill whose been amazing with getting stuff up.
But, I hope all of you were able to see David perform in the Macy's parade today but if you didn't manage to catch it here is a video.

Crush is officially platinum having sold 1,037,502 copies to date! Congrats to David and thanks to everyone who bought it!
Also, here's two new interviews with David about his Thanksgiving traditions, the next single and performing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.
VB: What are some of your Thanksgiving traditions?
DA: We watch the parade and we usually just went to my grandparents' house to have Thanksgiving dinner with the whole family and have the turkey and the mashed potatoes and really just spend quality time together. I think that's a really important part of this.

I met up with David and his incredibly sweet mother, Lupe Archuleta, just yesterday–check out our matching scarf action in this photo!–and the pop star revealed that "Touch My Hand" will no longer be his next single, as many outlets have been reporting:

Happy Thanksgiving to all from everyone here at DavidArchuleta Fever.com! Hopefully you didn't miss David performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! If you did, we'll have the video soon!
In the mean time, check out this article from New York Magazine who says that even though David Cook sold over 100,000 more copies than David Archuleta, Cook debuted at #3 on Billboard and our David debuted at #2!
The numbers are in! Last Wednesday, rightful American Idol winner David Archuleta posted first-week sales of 183,000 for his masterful debut record David Archuleta, landing the coveted No. 2 position on the Billboard 200. This morning it was announced that David Cook, Archuleta's balder, pitchier nemesis, managed to unload 280,000 copies of his new CD last week, which was only good enough for an abysmal No. 3 placement on today's chart — embarrassing! Better luck next time, Cook!

According to Idol Chatter, Crush has sold a total of 992,000 copies, and it is going to go platinum next week. Also, A Little Too Not Over You, Touch My Hand, and Angels are on the charts too!
As you'd expect with the release of his album, David A. had an active week on the digital songs chart as well. Crush jumps 19-14, selling 72,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan, a 24% boost. Total is 992,000, meaning next week is his cross-the-million-threshold celebration.
But that's not all. Little Too Not Over You enters the chart at 79 with 17,000; Touch My Hand starts at 134 with 10,000; and Angels remains on the chart, albeit down 111-184, having sold 8,000, a drop of 23%, for a total of 42,000
