David's grandfather is interviewed

David's maternal grandfather (Lupe's father) was in Honduras recently to visit with relatives. During his visit, he was interviewed by Tiempo Digital, "the first newspaper of Honduras" (click here for the google-translated version). One thing you may not know about Wilfredo Mayorga is that he is an accomplished writer. In fact, he wrote a book a couple years ago.

No Crush, No Mavid, No unexpected hugs

Remember that rumor that David was going to sing "Crush" in Kansas City? Well it turns out, the rumor was false. Last night in Kansas City, David did not sing "Crush", the Mavid dance did not happen, and Cook didn't give Archie an unexpected hug. I wonder what happened?

Hey Archies,

Ok so I realize I've not posted anything for a while but see I've now started school and when I get home and see news I come to posts it and someone already has.haha.

So I apologize but I just wanted to say big props to us Archies and Arch Angels. David's in the lead of the Popstar! Poll and the Fangap poll! As I said BIG PROPS TO US!

Radio Release Day is September 2nd

Although radio stations are already playing it, "Crush" isn't officially released to the radio until September 2nd. On that day, we should all:

1. Purchase another copy of "Crush"

and/or

2. Call-in to or Log-in to your local radio station to request "Crush"

Also, David is winning in the FanGap poll again. Keep voting though! But PLEASE keep it clean, NO trash talking! Click here to vote. And for those of you who have been asking, I think you can vote once a day.

Let's keep it clean

We all know that there's a "war" going on between Jonas fans and us because of the FanGap poll. I've been going on JonasBrothersFan.com and there's been a lot of trash talking about David and even us Arch Angels. If you read JB forums, blogs, etc., please don't leave any rude comments trash talking Jonas fans or the Jonas Brothers. I don't think David would want his fan base to be represented that way. If you see comments on JB sites trashing David, don't leave a comment defending him. It's best not to get involved. Just vote for David Archuleta in the poll, and let's keep it clean!

AIRPLAY and STREAMING and SALES:
Being #2 on the Hot 100 was a 1-week thing, that chart starts from ZERO each week. And we need to get Crush up the continuous charts like Top 40 and Pop 100 where the top songs have often sold over 1 million copies. So a good goal is for Crush to sell over a million copies too and get frequent airplay on lots of stations.

Crush needs streaming because it’s a percentage of some chart scores. And it need lots of airplay. Not only does airplay count towards some charts, but it exposes more people to Crush. Crush needs a lot ...
