Want to hear my concert experiance? Beware, it's long. Haha I went to the show in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 31st. It was the BEST.DAY.OF.MY.E N T I R E.LIFE!!!

On August 30th my mom, two friends, and I drove up from southern Wisconsin to my cabin in the Eau Claire/La Crosse area. We were all set for the concert the next day and totally excited! So the next morning we woke up at 8:30 AM and we were ready and out the door by 9:00. We got to the Target Center at about 12:30, after getting lost a little bit in Minneapolis. When my two friends and I saw the tour buses on the other side of the street, we quickly crossed and took pictures as David Cook, Ramiele, Brooke, Jason, Syesha, and Chikezie walked out of the Graves Hotel and into the tour buses.

After Chikezie, the lady told us we had to cross the street again and watch from over there. That was fine, because no one else ended up coming onto the buses. Since we had gotten there kind of late, we missed David A. and Michael and the rest of the people get onto the tour buses, but that was okay. My mom had found us a great spot in the front row where we could wait for the idols.

It wasn't actually a long wait. I mean, in total it was only about a half-an-hour that we were waiting before David Cook came out. Screams errupted from everywhere, and it was unbelievable for me to realize that I was not even 100 feet from the 'American Idol'! He started on the other end of the line, but promised to come back for us. We were all too excited to care how long it took and watched his every move as he signed each and every thing he was asked to and took pictures with whoever wanted one. I felt so blessed - most places you couldn't get pictures or talk to the idols because they were in a rush!

Next, Kristy Lee Cook came out. She started at the same place David Cook had, but she passed him in no time and she was the first celeb we met. She signed pictures for all of us and willingly took individual pics with each of us, too! She didn't get one with my mom, though, because she was taking the pictures. She is very sweet and pretty in person. I can't believe how down-to-earth she was!

After Kristy Lee, I knew I would have to wait a while for David Cook, so I turned my head to the tour buses, hoping that someone else would come out. After about 5 minutes, I looked around to see where David Cook was, but right as I did I heard louder, ear-piercing screams then when Cook came out. I looked over to the buses and screamed when I saw the REAL.BEAUTIFUL.ACTUAL.HEART-MELTING David Archuleta! He looked just like he did on TV, only it was WAY more ah-mazing seeing him in person. And he started on the side closest to us - yay!

Jason Castro came out shortly after, which lead to more screaming. One of my favourite moments was when David Cook was 5 feet away from me on the right, and David Archuleta was about the same distance on the left. I was like 'Ahhh!! I'm stuck between the two Davids!' Archie got to me before Cook did, I was very happy about that. He signed my tote bag, ipod, and poster, along with my friends pics for him, and we each got an indivual picture - plus a group one!! He was so nice and when we said that we'd gone to the concert for our birthdays he said happy birthday to us - twice! Once right after we told him and when he was saying good-bye. I managed to stay composed while he was with us, but I started crying a little after he left - I mean, hello, if you just met your idol wouldn't you be happy??

So after David I met Cook and Jason and got them to sign pics, and I also got a pic with each of them. When Archie left to go back in the tour bus, there were lots of screams and 'Bye David!" and 'I LOVE YOU!" kind of things. Soon we decided we didn't want to wait anymore, but right as we were about to leave Brooke came out, so we waited so that we could get our pics for her signed and also get a pic with her. After that my friends wanted to leave, so even though I didn't want to, we still did because they were the guests. It turns out we missed meeting Michael, Chikezie, and Carly, but hey - at least we met David!

So then we ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe across the street and then we had a couple of hours to kill. One of my friends brought cards, so we went into Starbucks and played cards for a while before it was finally time to go into the Target Center!

When we got in, I bought a tour book and a t-shirt. My friends bought a poster (They're twins) and they got a picture of Syesha for their Grandma who loves her. I thought that was nice of them. Then it was time to go in. Our seats were MUCH better than expected!! We were in the first row of the second floor section, so we had the whole space in between the two sections to walk around!! LOL we had so much more room than everybody else. When the concert started, I was so pumped and excited, I was screaming like a maniac!! Everyone blew me away. I don't want to post for each person because I've done this on a bunch of other websites already and it gets agonizing when you want to repeat yourself. SO - on that note, I'll skip to David.

His performance was phenominal! The crowd was screaming even as Syesha introduced him, and when he rose out on the piano singing 'Angels' I thought I was going to die. Throughtout all of his songs I cried, and even though I knew that people were probably staring, I didn't care the least bit. (Which is SO WEIRD for me because normally I HATE when people are looking at you for bad/strange reasons, which is I hate attracting attention in public, LOL). My friends were not as obsessed as me, so they laughed when they saw me crying but it was just really a moving performance. The finale was great too, and when the confetti fell from the sky and David left the stage I smiled bigger than I ever had and danced around in tthe confetti (Of which I still have about a pound of. I don't know why I kept the confetti, but I have so much of it that I decided to keep it and now we are painting my room red and blue. YES, we were going to paint it anyways, it's not like we saw confetti and thought 'Okay, let's redo my room right now'. LOL!!) When we left we smiled like crazy and we were talking nonstop. I was talking just so I could keep my mind off David and how it was over and that I had nothing to look forward to anymore. By the time we got to the car we were all half asleep, but I managed to stay awake until we got to my cabin again because I was still in shock that I had met David. It was the best day of my life!!!

So there you have it. Sorry if it's really long, it's just that if I tried to sum it up I know I would forget something and then .... I don't know, it's just I feel like I need to say everything! Thanks for reading, though, and post your experiance on the forum too - I would LOVE to hear about it!!!

P.S. Mods - on accident I posted this same thing under 'anonymous user'. Could you please delete that post but keep this one? Thank you!
